Eligibility Criteria:

1. The candidate must be an Indian citizen as defined in Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India and must be a permanent resident of Assam.

2. As a domicile proof of the candidates, he/she must upload a copy of the valid Permanent Resident Certificate issued in Assam for educational purpose/Employment Exchange Registration Certificate will be treated as proof of residency.

Educational Qualification: A candidate should hold a bachelor's degree in science with physics as one of the subjects of Bachelor's Degree in engineering.

Age Limit: A candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as of 01 - 01 - 2025.

Age Relaxation:

1. SC/ST: 5 years, i.e. upto 43 years

2. OBC/MOBC: 3 years, i.e. upto 41 years

3. PwBD: 10 years

4. For ex-servicemen, the maximum age shall be 50 years as of 01-01-2025 for the Unreserved category, relaxable further by 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

Scale of Pay: Pay Scale + Grade Pay + Other allowances to the Assam State Government employees from time to time (per month)

1. Pay Scale- Rs. 22,000/- to Rs. 97,000/-

2. Grade Pay- Rs. 9,400/-

3. Pay Band-3

The Small Family Norms:

As per government notification No. ABP 69/2019/17, dated Dispur, the 6^th November/2019, candidates have to submit a declaration regarding “The Small Family Norms” in Form- A at the time of applying for the post.
