Residency: The candidates must be permanent residents of Bihar.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess a Class-X and Class-XII pass.

Age Limit:

1. Minimum: 18 years

2. For Unreserved (UR) Maximum: 25 years

3. For Backward Class (BC) & EBC maximum: 27 years

4. For SC/ST maximum: 30 years

5. For Female Candidates (All Categories) maximum: 28 years

6. Age relaxation is applicable as per the rules.

 Application Fee:

1. For SC/ST/Female/Transgender candidates: Rs. 180/-

2. For all categories of candidates: Rs. 675

Physical Requirements:

Height:

1. General category (Male) minimum: 165 cm

2. SC/ST category (Male) minimum: 160 cm

3. Female candidates (All categories) minimum: 155 cm

Chest (For male candidates only):

1.For General category:

   a) Unexpanded: 81 cm

   b) Expanded: 86 cm

2. For SC/ST category:

   a) Unexpanded: 79 cm

   b) Expanded: 84 cm

Weight: 

 For Female candidates minimum 48 kg

Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Running

1. For Male Candidates: 1.6 km run to be completed within 6 minutes

2. For Female Candidates: 1 km run to be completed within 6 minutes

High Jump:

1. For Male candidates minimum: 4 feet

2. For Female candidates minimum: 3 feet

Shot Put:

1. For Male candidates: 16-pound shot to be thrown at least 16 feet

2. For Female candidates: 12-pound shot to be thrown at least 10 feet
